Location is amazing, the parking for the hotel is 5 blocks away unless you are willing to pay $45 a night rite beside the hotel. The gentleman and pregnant lady at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful when we first arrived. The following evening there was a blonde that was extremely rude because we forgot to put our mask on. Even though I said oh sorry let me grab it out my purse and asked what room are we staying in like we didn’t belong there. Remind you the doors are locked and you have to use your room key to get in the hotel itself first off. And I happened to tell her it was two different rooms and she was shocked like my cousin and I couldn’t stay in two different rooms. As if it was a problem when she said oh wow ok well we only give one warning like we did something by complying and putting our mask on without any questions. Free hotel parking and easy Uber ride away from wherever you want to go, 5 minute drive to UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. I was in from out of town for 4 days to have surgery and had to arrive 48 hours prior for the required pre-surgery COVID test. Since we live about 3 hours away we decided we would stay the weekend and enjoy Santa Monica before I went into the hospital on Monday. Prior to my stay I called the staff to let them know why I was in town and they were happy to give me a room on the first floor close to the parking lot and they allowed us to check in over 2 hours early without any extra charge. They offered daily housecleaning options if you wanted and they also did a full service cleaning of our room on Monday after we left so that when we returned on Tuesday afternoon (I had to stay overnight) our room was fresh and clean. The room is a good size with lots of storage space. They offered a decent grab and go breakfast everyday and there is a Carl's Jr literally across the parking lot and

I love this place. I have actually extended my stay for one more week. Three days into my stay I've found a towel, not to my liking. Got another 3 sets immediately. The bathroom is spotless and looks new, modern but bring a hairdryer if you need one. The actual room is BIG with a small fridge and a huge TV. I've also loved the fact that the AC worked fantastically. Parking was plenty and right in front of my room and it's the same for all the other rooms. No place to hang clothes but plenty of storage in a cabinet under the TV which is in front of the bed. There is also a big desk, like a slab attached to the wall (chair and all) with a mirror on top that can serve as an office if you bring your laptop or vanity to do your makeup and stuff. There is also an additional full-length mirror on a different wall. Please don't be mislead by the looks and the location! It's clean and it's SAFE! Not only that but one night someone else got a room next door and they were yelling, fighting, noisy
